As Real Housewives Of Atlanta season six premieres, Porsha and Kordell Stewart’s marriage is the center of topic as viewers are still SHOCKED by the couple’s imminent split from what seemed to be happy and promising union between the two. Kordell has been deemed the “bad guy” in this reality story and this time around he is now speaking up for himself.
In a recent interview with V103’s Ryan Cameron morning show, Kordell firmly admits that Porsha was well aware of the divorce and she demanded that he pursue the court filings because she was not financially equipped to do so. Furthermore, Kordell reveals that Porsha’s persistence to imitate the life of lead RHOA star, Nene Leakes caused a strain to their marriage as Porsha had agreed to be a traditional “southern belle housewife” and not seek the “independent woman” route.
Things got so bad between the two that Porsha began coming home at two in the morning and he would often have to explain to his son [that Mommy was out working] .. Kordell says pattern of late attendance became more and more frequent and he felt it was a disrespect to their son and their marriage.
