He’s Back!
Almost a two decade music hiatus, a few pop up appearances, rapper Mase [aka MasonBetha] is re-emerging back into the music industry. Mase unveiled his new album entitled “Now We Even” and informed his fans that he will be bringing his best lyrical content on the forthcoming album. While at the height of his music career in 1999 , Mase disappeared from the music industry, moved to Atlanta, turned his life over to GOD, and became Pastor MasonBetha.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen Mase make seldom appearances with his former friend and boss, Diddy, 50 cent, and last year on the summer jam stage with rapper French Montana.
There is still no word as to whether Mase will be including biblical content on the new album but he’s has already mentioned that he has been listening to all of his old records, along with Biggie’s and Tupac’s music as inspiration for what he’ll be bringing this time around. Mase seems to be enlisting producer Missy Elliot for a few hit tracks.
