Long Time Coming And Now It’s Confirmed!
Rohan Marley [son of music legend Bob Marley] is engaged to his girlfriend, brazilian model Isabeli Fontana. Isabeli confirmed the news in a magazine interview in her native town [which aired this week] and says that the two plan to tie the knot the Ethiopia [the home of the Rastafari movement].
Marley, 39 has six children with singer Lauren Hill and two prior children from a previous relationship. Marley allegedly met Isbaeli, 28 after his break-up with Hill last year after he publicly revealed that Hill’s sixth child was not of his DNA.
Sidebar: After Hill’s sixth child you question your parental duties? Marley, you were already 7 kids deep. Why ask now? I’m still shock that Lauren and Marley were never married to begin with, and, how they managed to come this far after Marley was already married to his college beau Geraldine Khawly back in 1993-1995 era]. Rollingstone magazine did some deep investigation and there is still no proof of a “dissolution of marriage” between Marley and Geraldine. Well, clearly Lauren and Rohan were on a rocky slope from the gate and their relationship have finally run it’s course. I just hate to see the kids in the middle of it all.
But in all fairness Rohan hinted very earlier on, even up until last year, that he was no longer with Lauren. So could it be that Lauren chose to remain tight-lipped about it all? Check out what he’d told a Uk reporter via twitter when asked about his relationship with Lauren:
Now that the truth has come to light, Rohan is wasting no time moving on to the next one. Well, Rohan will definitely need to divorce Geraldine if he plans to marry his young brazilian beauty. Lauren can write 10 albums for all the drama [including the baby daddy drama between Wyclef and Rohan of Hill’s first son Zion which many believe led to the infidelities in the relationship and break-up] that’s taken place in her life.
