There’s trouble brewing in paradise with the Carters/Knowles family. In a video obtained by TMZ, Solange is seen attacking her brother-in law Jay-Z in an elevator at the Met Gala after party [May 5th]. Solange seems pretty pissed at Jay-Z and she begins to kick and punch him while their body guard desperately tries to restrain her.
At one point, Beyonce steps in the middle of the two [to calm things down] but Solange is clearly furious and offended by Jay-Z ‘s [remarks or actions prior to their arrival into the elevator] and she continues to shout, spits and kick towards him.
Jay-Z took the high road and remained calm but I’m sure he isn’t happy about Solange’s physical reactions nor the leakage of this video. The pic above speaks for itself – Solange was pissed.
The Carters and Knowles are pretty private about their personal lives and their teams [work extremely hard to keep it that way] but it’s hard to come up with a forged story about this encounter.
Hopefully this family can mend fences [or not]. We’ll see how this plays out. There is no audio in the video but you can clearly see that the two were in a heated altercation. Take a look below

Update: There are swirling rumors about the what may have caused the altercation. The rumors suggest that Solange got into it with fashion designer Rachel Roy [ex-wife of Damon Dash former creator of Rocafella Records] at the after-party.
Jay-Z allegedly said or issued a disrespect [of some sort] to Beyonce and or Solange hence the physical show down in the elevator.
