Rapper, Chinx Drugz [minus the last name] post record deal signing, appeared on H0t 97 Angie Martinez show to dish about his new record deal and single “Feelings“. Chinx is the second runner up of French Montana’s Cokeboy entourage to land a record deal after accumulating a growing buzz on the streets and in the industry.
His trending singles “I’m A Cokeboy“, and “Feelings” drew popularity in the radio and nightclub circuit and now Chinx is ready to draw a bigger audience as a solo artist.
Sidebar: So the label advised Chinx to drop his last name but they’re okay with him promoting the “Cokeboy” brand. Huh?
In the interview, Chinx did not reveal the label he’s signed with, but did note that he will be airing out the big news when he releases his new video on BET’s 106th & Park show, next week and [Sean Diddy Combs] will not be . As for what the rapper will do with his newly gross income, Chinx says he has already moved out of the “hood” but rather than splurge on fancy cars, jewelry , and imagery, he will build his capital instead.

Hot 97 media correspondent, Miss Info [who is of Asian decent] says while Chinx has affirmed that his rap name was not of malicious intent she feels that Chinx would’ve considered changing his first name given that the term “Chinx” is revered as a racial slur towards Asian people.
Back in 2012, a lawsuit was filed against Hooters [in Queens New York] after a couple notice that the waitress referred to them as “Chinx”.
