Although we only got a glimpse of K. Michelle singing ability on VH1 Love & Hip Hop reality show [amide all the casting drama that was taking up the tv screen] fans of the singer, got their money’s worth at NYC legendary SOB’s nightclub where K. Michelle performed thursday night [Sept 13th].
The singer delivered great vocal performance in front of a packed crowd. Paying tribute to those that came before her and those of whom that have inspired her musically, K. Michelle seranaded the crowd with a few covers song’s of Monica’s “Before You Walk Out Of My Life“, Mary J. Blige’s “Love No Limit” and Jill’s Scott “Its Love“. Throughout the performance K. Michelle took the time to thank her fans for sticking by her and her story [of domestic abuse which she’d share on the reality show] and performed her a few songs [“I Won’t Complain“, and “Can’t Raise A Man” , ” which is on her mixtape latest mixtape “O F—Given” which is currently FREE of charge via download.
K. Michelle also took the time to remind folks that she is from Memphitz, but she’s talented as “F—” and later performed a diss track song “Bands Will Make Her Dance” to Karlie Red, Rasheeda, and Toya Wright.
