Pop star Rihanna was hospitalized yesterday evening in Sweden. The Bajan pop princess was forced to cancel the Malmo, Sweden spot on her LOUD tour tonight, after she came down with a nasty case of the flu.
Rihanna released a statement to her fans, along with a twitpic of her IV drip below:
“I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo Switzerland. I was so excited to perform for you all.”
“It would have been a great time…so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there,” she added.
Rhianna is slated to make a full recovery and complete her Loud tour later this week.
