The bodyguard [Christopher Hollosy] of singer, Chris Brown was found guilty on the Washington D.C. assault charge. According to the judge, Brown’s bodyguard was not ‘justified’ in punching a man outside a D.C. hotel back in October of 2013.
Both Hollosy and Brown were charged with misdemeanor assault in the incident. The reports indicate that Hollosy is seeking an appeal on the guilty verdict and Brown’s trial is now set to begin. Seems like things just got serious.
Other reports from the courtroom suggest that a key witness of Brown decided not to testify to avoid self-incrimination in his pending appeal. Brown Brown’s trial may be delayed given Hollosy’s pending appeal .
However, Brown will remain in custody until his next court date on Wednesday [April, 30th] and Hollosy is scheduled to be sentence on June 25th.
I really believe that celebrities should have their own camera-man or crew when their out in the public to protect themselves from the whole he say-she say lawsuits. However, Brown needs to really assess his behavior.
Given his bad reputation with anger issues, its very clear that its a weak point and unfortunately some people [paparazzi, and other persons ]who are seeking to climb up the monetary wealth.
Now, I’m sure bodyguards are not signing up for the job expecting to go to jail and or catch a felony charge.
