Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kandi Buruss and fiancee’ Todd Tucker exchanged vows [finally] on April 4th. As seen on the reality show, the couple underwent serious challenges as Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce did damn there everything she could to prevent her daughter from marrying Todd [whom she feels is an opportunist].
Amidst all the drama, Kandi and Todd has decided to move forward with their relationship, and while Mama Joyce is not yet convinced about the intentions of her now son-in-law she supported her daughter’s decision on her big day and didn’t speak against the couple during the ceremony. [THANK GOD]
Bravo will air the wedding day special in Kandi’s new spin-off show. The “Coming To America” themed ceremony held 300 guests and cost a whopping $400,000. LIONS were placed at the entrance gate as guest entered the ceremony.
Kandi wore a $20,000 Reco Chapple designer gown with a 12-foot long train attached.
Her royal crown was custom made by Kevin Russell. Designer Reco says that they pulled in special favors to get this dress ready in just one month.
” The ostrich feathers were flow in from China and the Swavorski crystals was imported from India. Reco says he worked day and night to get all the crystal woven into the dress perfectly.”
