Oh She Did That!
Jennifer Hudson received the 2,512th star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame yesterday Nov.13. The world finally knew who Jennifer Hudson, her music career took off soon after earning her a Grammy for her self titled album in 2009, and J-Hud went on to star in other box office movies “Sex In The City”, “The Secret Life Of Bees“, “Winnie Mandela” and more.
Jennifer Hudson also appears in the new tv film “Black Nativity” alongside Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, , Jacob Latimore, Tyrese Gibson, Mary J. Blige and Nasir “Nas” Jones which is set to debut on Thanksgiving of this year. The film is about:
“A street-wise teen from Baltimore raised by a single mother, as he journeys to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives Reverend Cornell and Aretha Cobbs (Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett). Unwilling to live by the imposing Reverend Cobbs’ rules, a frustrated Langston is determined to return home to his mother, Naima (Jennifer Hudson). Langston embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey and along with new friends, and a little divine intervention, he discovers the true meaning of faith, healing, and family. “
J-Hud is still the “spokesperson” for the Weight Watchers brand, and she released a book entitled “I Got This” about her journey.
“I wrote this book because I want you to have a sense of who I am, where I’ve come from and what I’ve been through so you know my journey has been totally real,” says the Oscar and Grammy winning actress and singer.
