Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster issued an emergency petition to resume primary care of their two sons following their son’s recent pool incident [that took place in Usher’s home during his absence]. The judge granted her request but outcome ruling was not as she expected.
Tameka’s lawyers argued that Usher is an absentee father who is constantly on the road and does not have the time to be the primary guardians, Usher, his aunt, Rena Oden [who was caring for bay Usher at the time of the incident] took the stand and argued the opposite according to ABC.
The Judge then renewed Usher’s right as primary custodian of their boys. Following the ruling, Usher went over to hug Tameka and said “I’m Sorry“. Tameka reportedly accepted the hug but told reporters that she will continue to fight for her boys; noting that the custody battle is not over.
