T-Boz is coming to a TV near you! Known for her lead singing role in the hit 90’s girl group ‘TLC‘, T-Boz has sold millions of records, traveled the world, got married and conceived a child. But T-Boz also stumbled upon some difficult challenges while gaining her successes. At the height of their music success, the group filed for bankruptcy in due to mismanagement of their funds and contract agreement. T-Boz [who was born with sickle-cell disease] had many scaling moments where her medical condition impacted her contractual obligations with TLC but things turned worst for the group following the death of their co-star Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez in April of 2002. The group never fully recovered; and no album has been released [from the group] in the last ten years.
Just three years ago [in 2009] T-Boz suffered a brain tumor which impaired her eyesight, speech, and physical characteristics. Through the grace of faith, hope, and some intense physical therapy, the singer has since recovered and is ready to embark on her long lost dream of being a ‘SOLO ACT‘. In her new reality show, T-Boz moves from her native town, Atlanta to Los Angeles where she sets her sights on debuting her fist solo album. T-Boz is now divorced and starting over! While there, T-Boz discusses the faith of TLC with fellow member Chilli [and let’s just say the two don’t see ‘eye to eye’ on continuing the TLC brand].
