Serena Williams Is Rapping? Did She Serve An Ace On This One?

Who’d Ever Thought Serena Could Rap?

From the courts to the studio booth. Hip-hop has somehow captured tennis star player Serena Williams heart and in turn inspired her to step in the booth and bless the mic.

There goes that internet again! It has it pro’s and con’s but it surely has the power to impact and or hinder one’s life. Serena Williams record a track with her good friend Bryant Mckinney [NFL offensive tackle of the Baltimore Ravens] sometime last year and my golly the song was recently leaked on the internet. Serena is actually rapping on the track and verse is not too bad. Now, Serena is a it ore articulate in her vocabulary so she lacks the hood slang swag of course but at least she was coherent in her delivery.

Sidebar: Let’s be honest people. Some of these rappers [even those with hottest records and the biggest status] can use a little enhancement in speech etiquette [especially in the booth]. Slang should be excercised sparingly and not consistently in your daily language and the same rules apply for those of corporate sector. How one speak’s in the board room, is not how one is required to rap in the booth.

Listen to the song below:

Out of 1-10 Serena, Plum rates you a 5 for the following.

1) Your punchlines did rhyme.

2) You were staying true to yourself and not trying to be carbon copy of someone else

3) It was done in the name of fun and not out of serious intent to get a deal

4) You actually was rapping about the life in which your from.
