Zendaya is racking up ‘endorsements’, and 2016 shows much more to come for the 19-year old. The disney star is the ambassador for Chi-hair care and she recently launched her very own shoe line ‘Daya’ .

We’re not even pass the first quarter of the New Year and Zendaya  has already inked a new deal with ‘CoverGirl’ ; joining a list of diverse women as one of the leading ambassador’s for the ‘Easy’, ‘Breezy’ ‘Beautiful’ beauty line which she’s extremely proud of her latest business venture.

Last year, Zendaya underwent media scrutiny for wearing loc-extensions to the 2015 Oscars; an homage to her father and relatives who wear ‘dreadlocks’ . However the Zendaya defense did more than shed light on the ignorancy of our society standards; they ignited a public support campaign which ultimately caught the attention of Mattel.

Zendaya would later  join forces with Mattel to produce her very own barbie doll in efforts to promote diversity in the company’s line.

Since the barbie’s diversity expansion line more than 78 new barbies have hit the retail shelves, along with eight different skin tones and 14 different hairstyles throughout the collection. Film Director, Ava Duvernay, barbie doll was sold out just 24 hours after its release back in December of 2015.

The diverse line is a sign of changing times, as the traditionally blonde barbie doll may not resonate with today’s American girls. Zendaya is truly a role model in the making for young girls to aspire.
