Natalie Cole, daughter of legendary singer, Nat King Cole was laid to rest on January 11th at the Los Angeles ‘Church Of God In Christ’. Natalie passed away on Dec.31st from a rare lung disease.
Cole was diagnosed with heptatitis C; the result of her admitted drug use from years prior. Despite her kidney transplant in 2009, Natalie became ill, and her kidneys began to fail. Cole was 65. Thousands of family, and friends packed Cole’s memorial service to pay their final tribute to the ‘Unforgettable’ star who gave us classical hits song ‘This Will Be’, ‘Inseparable’, and ‘Our Love’.
Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Angela Bassett, David Foster, Gladys Knight, Rev. Jessie Jackson, Smokey Robinson and many more were all in attendance.

Natalie Cole was laid to rest next to her father Nat King Cole and mother, Marie Cole. Natalie will be greatly missed, but her MUSIC lives on forever!
