Epic Year For Iman Shumpert & Teyana Taylor, The Couple Welcomes ‘Baby Girl’ Just In Time For The Holidays

NBA baller, Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor definitely wins our 2015 celebrity couple of the year award. Where do we begin with these two. Since their dating announcement back in 2014, Iman and Teyana have adored us with their love and affection for one another; sharing their private and public moments of their love journey.

Just a few months after celebrating their one year anniversary this year, the couple announced that they were expecting a new addition to their family, and revealed that a ‘baby girl’ was on its way. More beautiful pictures and videos flooded their timelines included their hot and steamy maternity photos.

Iman would later fulfill his promise to Teyana and make her, his wife. The six foot one baller delivered a surprise proposal at the couple’s baby shower; leaving the singer speechless in tears.

On December 16th,the couple welcomed their first child Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr.

Babay Iman came suddenly as Teyana made a bathroom run in the early morning hours. The couple couldn’t make it to the hospital in time, so Iman transformed into Dr. Shumpert and delivered his daughter. You can listen to the full 911 call HERE

On Dec 16th at 6:42am in our bathroom Junie decided she wanted to take her first breath into this world. She came out as a wonderful surprise to everyone! Not knowing I was in labor until I felt her head…it took two ten count pushes with my fiancé playing Dr and she entered this world into his bare hands! Eyes full of tears and barely able to speak to the emergency operator @imanshumpert tied a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord and the ambulance made there grand entrance 5 min later. She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is. She has blown Christmas away! Our family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched. Welcome Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. Mommy carried you. Daddy delivered you. #MeetTheParents we love you baby girl💂🏾🐞👶🏾

Last year, I had the pleasure of providing media coverage for Teyana’s first clothing line launch at New York’s fashion week.

Iman attended the event, and backstage the couple displayed a genuine affection for one another. It was pretty evident that these two were head over heels in love with one another.
