Jhene Aiko is still banking off the success of her debut album ‘Souled Out’ which nabbed the No.1 spot on the R&B/Hip Hop Album Charts and the No.3 spot on the Billboards Top 200 last year, with more than 70,000 copies sold in its first week.

Last month, Jhene Aiko finally debut the visuals to one of her fan favorite tracks ‘Lyin King’.  The Tock and Topshelf Junior directed video warrants no comments and only advises that you watch the visual experience of a traveling medicine woman who has a prophetic vision of an early civilization in trouble.

” The Men Have Neglected The Women And Deprived Them Of Love.

By Orders Of Their Chief, The Men Of The Tribe Have Taken Away The Women’s Hearts And Voices.

The Women Are Powerless. The Children Are Suffering.

The Medicine Woman Travels For Many Days To Reach The Primitive Village. ”

Aiko gives the full explanation on her tumblr and youtube page.

Recently, the singer has signed onto a new joint project with the United Nations Foundation and entitled, Girl Up ; a new campaign served to unite girls everywhere to change the world through self advocacy and fundraising. The organization recently released their first Global Equality Tee via Brooklyn Industries.
