The Real co-star, Adrienne Bailon announced that she and her fiance’ Lenny Santiago [aka Lenny S] are no longer engaged. Following a much needed Eat,Pray Love vacation this summer, Bailon told her fans that she had plenty of time to self-reflect on her life experiences, and personal ‘truths’ and she has come to terms with the couple’s decision to split after five years.
” You know we like to keep it real with you guys, we keep it honest and straight up and, that also includes the good and the hard times that we go through and that’s what makes us real – right guys?
My prayer has always been that even in the not so great moments in your life that you remind yourself that everything in life happens for a reason and that hopefully it will be to benefit somebody else on their journey when their going through hard times and let them know that they’re not alone.
So I know you guys have been asking me on instagram and on social media- Where’s Your Ring?, Are You Engaged? and….
Coming into season two [of the show] it was such a blessing to be here and I didn’t want to put a damper on our celebration, and I didn’t want to bring down the morale of the show. During the summer, I went on my own Eat, Pray, Love journey and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and honesty, and I Am Not Engaged Anymore!
We’re in a good place and its not an ‘aww’ thing I promise you. We’re going to be great friends forever. I think that…, its a hard decision to make when your with someone for such a long time . I think as women we have a hard time with change; and it was hard for me but you have to be true to yourself and honest with yourself and I think having that time on my own gave me that opportunity . “
