How You Meet Him, Is How You Keep Him…I Guess!
Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Kandi Buruss and hubby, Todd Tucker have come to a ‘bump’ in their marriage. In Sunday’s episode [Mar.1], Kandi advises Todd that the two should seek marriage counseling because having ‘sex’ one time per week is not enough for her nor their marriage.
Without being accusatory, Kandi suspects possible cheating and working together may be the cause of the couple’s recent distance, but Todd tells a different tale.
” I can’t believe Kandi wants me to go to marriage counseling – says Todd . I know things in the bedroom have bee a little tough for me and Kandi, but is it that extreme? “
Todd goes on to say:
” Let’s be real, I’m not Tyson Beckford, and you’re not Rihanna. When’s the last time you didn’t have the bonnet on and you put some heels on?
….Man have you seen a lady at night with a bonnet on? The most thirstiest dude wouldn’t get it up! ”
Kandi gave Todd the evil side -eye and reminded him that he’s no Idris Elba, and she’s no Rihanna but that’s fine with her. Kandi also noted that she wore the bonnet when the two were dating and it wasn’t a problem then, so why the complaint now.
So the question begs: Whose Side Are You On? For the average couple, bedroom behavior comes with a different set of rules it seems. Appearance in the bedroom is key for most men, and while some men may overlook their woman’s bonnet or roller set, others want the full package from head to-toe.
Clearly, this is an issue for Todd and Kandi, and Todd seems to be unhappy in the marriage but I don’t think its because Kandi is a wearing a bonnet at night. If this is Todd’s cry for help, then I’m sure Kandi can easily oblige; afterall she is the CEO of sex toy line ‘Bedroom Kandi’.
