Following his show-out at the 2015 Grammy’s, Kanye West stopped by Power 105.1, The Breakfast Club show to dish on his recent rant along with a plethora of other topics surrounding fashion, his ex-Amber Rose, why he allows his wife, Kim Kardashian to pose naked in magazines, and more.
As always, there were many stand out moments from Ye’s interview. Ye talked about his recent reunion with former Rocafella Records CEO Dame Dash, his support for Louis Farrakhan, and why he feels like the Kardashian brand had NOT hindered his brand. Kanye went on to say that during a recent dinner with Taylor Swift, he got a chance to listen to Beck’s album that was playing coincidentally inside the restaurant, and feels that Beck produced a great album, but did not deserve the Grammy for ‘album of the year’.
Ye plans to return to the music on his upcoming album. Ye explains that his last album ‘YEEZUS’ was more of a ‘protest album’ of his frustration.
So Why Does Kanye defends Beyonce so much? According to Ye, often times people assume that celebrities like ‘Beyonce’ need no additional accolades because of the ‘many’ awards they’ve received prior and that’s not the way it should be. One should always be credited for the proper accolades that they’ve earned.
In a nutshell, Kanye embraces any and everything that his wife Kim-K does; and too feels that the more nude pics Kim takes the more society will embrace other ‘beauty standards’ that are modeled widely beyond the tv screen and ad posters. My daughter [Nori] might grow up and be the size of her mom’ – says Kanye.
Ye stirred the pot once more when he mentioned that he thinks ‘Kylie and Tyga’ are in love, and feels that Tyga was smart because he got into the ‘Kardashian’ clan early. It seem that Ye threw his artist, and underage sister-in law under the bus just 24 hours after Tyga denounced the rumors that he was dating the 17-year old. Ye attests that Kylie and Tyga’s relationship is closer in age than other couples he know. The ‘in love’ statement was removed from the original video, which now leaves the public consensus ‘right’ in their opinion.
Kanye also responded his thoughts on Amber Rose calling his wife ‘not dope’ and dispelling the rumors that he cheated on her with Kim; which caused their 2-year break-up.
” If Kim dated me before when I first wanted to be with her, there would be no Amber.
Charlamagne: But Amber said Kim was sending you naked pics while you two were together?
I wish, I would have gladly, and happily like to… but she didn’t. It’s very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that’s with Amber Rose so she wasn’t sending nothing. I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim. “
Talk about SHADE!… Amber Rose has since responded.
Kanye is undeniably one of the most controversial flawed artists of our time. He may not get it right all the time but he at least now admits some of his wrongdoings and with a less ‘chip’ on his shoulders. Ye even prefers to fly coach more than private to be more connected to the people.
