One of the highlighted moments of the 2015 All Star Weekend was Michael Jordan’s 30th anniversary celebration of the Jordan Brand which included an impromptu live performance by music legend, Prince along with a host of A-list celebrities, notable executives, and guests to honor the NBA legend.
The private star-studded event was held at 23 Wall Street, and all of the who’s who were in attendance. Magic Johnson, Derek Jeter, Chris Paul, Carmelo & Lala Anthony, Kobe Bryant & Wife, Chris Rock, Russell Westbrook, Nas, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Action Bronson and many more.
I can’t tell you how jealous I was to learn that Prince performed his classic hit songs , ‘Kiss’, ‘Let’s Go Crazy’, ‘1999’, and ‘Purple Rain’ with his ‘3rdeyegirl’ band. If you’ve ever watch the movie ‘Purple Rain’; you get my point here.
