Give Props Where They’re Due!
After watching the trio’s live performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards last night, I must admit I became a fan of their new single ‘FourFiveSeconds’. Honestly, I just assumed this was a snippet of a photo campaign, and I never followed up on the story to see what all the hype is about.
I really like the lyrics of the song, and I love how the writers of this track put Rihanna’s and Kanye’s personal stance on what drives them to go from zero to four-five seconds from ‘wilding out’. Paul McCartney’s feature is just genius. Who’d ever think of these three persons to do a track together. We can achieve more, if we work collectively. This is an honest record without the filter, and mastering make-up thus why it comes across as heartfelt.
The track will be featured on Rihanna’s upcoming eight studio album [which drops this year]. Producers of the track include, West, McCartney Ty Dolla Sign, Dallas Austin, Mike Dean, and Dave Longstreth.
