Buzzing R&B provocateur MILA J is debuting the music video for “Champion” [featuring B.o.B] on VEVO now. This is the fifth and final video from the Los Angeles singer/songwriter’s critically acclaimed visual EP, M.I.L.A. [Motown Records], available now at iTunes and all online partners.
In the latest video, her stunning vocals emerge victorious over energetic and cinematic production replete with Rocky-style horns. The visual sees Mila J step into the boxing ring while multi-platinum Atlanta hip-hop hero B.o.B helps to bring the song’s story to life.
Mila has become one of the most talked-about new artists to emerge in R&B. Her latest single “My Main” [featuring Ty Dolla $ign] is closing in on five million YouTube/VEVO views, while the recent video for “Times Like These” is closing in at one million views. Upon its release, M.I.L.A. seized the #1 spot on iTunes Top R&B Albums Chart.
2014 properly announced the arrival of Mila J. She participated in the BET College Tour and played numerous sold out dates alongside Ty Dolla $ign. For M.I.L.A., she teamed up with studio heavyweights such as DJ Mustard [Fergie, 2 Chainz, YG, Tinashe], K.E. On The Track [Nicki Minaj, Future, Rick Ross], Eric Cire [Mariah Carey, K. Michelle], and Immanuel Rich [Marques Houston].
Mila J continues to be in-demand as a featured artist as well. She teamed up with Trey Songz for the single “Disrespectful” from his chart-topping 2014 album, TRIGGA. Bobby Brackins also tapped her and G-Eazy for the bouncy Bay Area banger “Hot Box.”
