Scandal Has It’s Sacrifices!
Bill Cosby has resigned from his post on the board of trustees at Temple University where he’s served more than 30 years. According to Patrick O’ Connor, chairman of the Philadelphia university board of trustees, Cosby called him on Monday Dec. 1, 2014 and issued his resignation.
” He didn’t want his personal issue to detract from his service to Temple, O’Connor said in a phone interview. He was a great trustee. I thanked him for his service. ”
More than a dozen women have come forward with personal testimonies of ‘sexual misconduct’ allegations against the comedian. However, Cosy has yet to be charged for these alleged crimes. The number of alleged victims have now totaled over 17 women with similar stories of their encounters with Cosby.
Cosby, 77 remains silent and while some people believe there’s a conspiracy agenda at play to ruin Cosby’s legacy, there are presentable facts of both previous charges [that were reportedly dropped ] from a few of these women along with one undisclosed settlement of one victim that’s hard to erase from the equation. SMH!
Bill Cosby did release a statement regarding his resignation saying:
” I have always been proud of my association with Temple University . I have always wanted to do what would be best in the interests of the university and it students as a result. I have tendered my resignation from the Temple University Board of Trustees. “
