Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Phaedra Parks finally breaks her silence on her marital troubles with husband, Apollo Nida. Parks happily ever after with Apollo came to hault last month when Nida was arrested and charged with fraud. Nida is currently serving an eight-year sentence.
Phaedra has not spoken out about her marital troubles but there were many speculations that were bought out about the couple’s marriage. Will Phaedra stick by her husband’s side during his prison bid? What about their children? Was she aware of his alleged crimes? More speculation following the released the new trailer for the upcoming season. Apollo accuses Phaedra of cheating with an African man named Chocolate, and their marital troubles seem to be headed for the worst.
Well, Phaedra set the record straight during her interview on the Ellen Show. Phaedra says she had no knowledge of her husband’s business dealings.
“I didn’t have any idea this was going on until he called me and said ‘Hey’, I’ve got into some trouble, and I’ve been arrested.
On whether she’d believed that Apollo had change after his first prison bid prior to them marrying and having children
” Well, to be honest, he had been to prison. But he was a changed person, so the person I married, I thought he had changed. “
” My heart aches for my children, they are the heart and soul of who I am. “
