Rapper Tyga Demands Release From Young Money Label + Says He Will Leak Album!

Exclusive Press Preview Of Tyga's Last Kings Flagship Store

Rapper, Tyga  has now joined the list of former Cash Money and Young Money artists who have demanded release from the alleged fraudulent record label.  We may looking at history repeating itself  yet again this story. The ‘Rack City’ rapper says that Young Money; the label operated by Cash Money records lead successful artist,  Lil Wayne is holding him hostage.

In a series of tweets over the weekend Tyga [aka TRaw] threatens to leak the album  and let the label do what they do best and profit the earnings in exchange for his release.

Back in 2013, Tyga expressed his feeling on the ‘machine’ aka [the record labels] noting that he preferred the independent option because it has built his current empire and not the label as the public would like to assume. Tyga admits that he received a signing bonus but NO checks followed thereafter.

” I never got a check from Young Money or Cash Money. But me saying that its like I’ve always treated my career like independent and everything that I’ve got is because go myself, my own endorsements, me touring myself. You know what I’m saying? “

So what about the videos, the fancy cars, million dollar mansions etc? Tyga says the label pays for the videos but that’s about it.

Sidebar: Word to the wise up and coming artist, certain machines will run the same despite the fine tune an touch ups. Too bad so many of our youth are looking at rapper and rapping as a way out of poverty.

” I mean at a certain point you get your money. They pay for your videos and all that other stuff, but I was never really like dependent on the label. ”

Tyga went on to say that he is a man of god and the music industry is devils playground. I’m sure with Tyga’s recent public accusations , he won’t be a Young Money member for too long  but I guess personal freedom is what counts the most.

“I mean at a certain time, you get your money. They pay for your videos and all that other stuff. But I was never really like dependent on the label like that. I felt like if I wanted to be independent, I could do that because it would be no difference. I would still tour, put out albums, and I’d still sell out shows.”

The street whispers suggest that Young Money primary focus is their lead artist Drake And Nicki Minaj.  Lil Wayne is no stranger to artist coming and going. He was the only rapper that remained when his former group mates ‘The Hot Boys” [ft. Juvenile, BG, and  Mannie Fresh] left the Cash Money records labels  [back in the 90’s] for non-payment of royalties.
