Who is Tinashe?
Tinashe is burning up the music charts with her smashing hit single ‘2 on’ , and her latest video release ‘Pretend‘. This week, the singer debut her first studio album ‘Tinashe’ this week and its CERTIFIED for PLUM’s over and under 21.
” Tinashe real name, Tinashe J. Kachingwe was birthed in Zimbabwe, Africa and given the name from her father. Tinashe means ‘We Are With God In Shonah’ [Christ] . Her mother is of Danish, Irish decent and grew up in, Iowa state. ”
I had the pleasure of previewing the album prior to meeting the rising star at her album release party at Liberty theater ‘Made In New York’ brunch series, Sunday [Oct 5th]. I was quite shocked and impressed. The 21 year old RCA artist solo album presents a total different perception of what I had initially expected.
Tinashe’ s album features a few ballad songs, two artists features, and most of the songs were co-written by the singer in her home studio in California .
