August Alsina collapsed during his recent concert performance at the Irving Plaza in New York City. Alsina who is the headliner on tour alongside Teyana Taylor was performing his hit single “NUMB” and towards the ending of the song, the singer passed out on stage.
Alsina’s bodyguards rushed him backstage and he was taken to a nearby hospital. The concert was cancelled immediately, and while some fans were disappointed from the swift cancellation, many gathered outside to hear if Alsina was okay.
One concert goer tells PLUM, Alsina did not look well. “Alsina looked quite tired, as if he hadn’t eaten, but he sung his heart out until he could not hold out any longer. “ Earlier today a close source reveals that Alsina is currently recovering from dehydration.
The New Orleans singer has been traveling across the country in promotion of his album success and allegedly suffered from exhaustion earlier on the tour.
Alsina’s bodyguard Terrence Holloway aka ‘Big T’ issued the following:
” Hey Everybody, Alsina nation: all our auggies! This big T…just letting everybody know that yungin is ok and making a full recovery.. He was super dehydrated.
