Bridget Kelly is set to debut her new EP ‘All Or Nothing’  this year and she’s seems more excited than ever about her new music. In a recent interview with U.K’s Radio King show, Kelly talked about her departure from Jay-Z’s  Roc Nation label, her decision to be an independent artist, creating new music and working with music producers  in London.

” With this project I wanted the music to speak for itself.  I love London man. I’m so happy. I had a beautiful week. I had a show at the Jazz Cafe, I was in the studio working on a remix for my single…I had jerk chicken yesterday. It’s been productive week –says BK

On Her New EP:

” I was scared at first but its really been moving exactly how I wanted it to . The reception has been really beautiful. I obviously came to the U.K. first because I feel like the fans really love genuine authentic music and especially R&B music.

On The Remix ‘Almost Home’:

” Yeah for Almost More. With this project I kind of wanted every song to flow from one to the next. So ‘I Won’t Cry’ goes right into ‘Almost Home’. And ‘Almost More’ is kind of a sexy record. So the radio stations here everyone plays R&B records but with these crazy amazing beats behind them.

So I wanted to do a remix version song just to get some international flavor and there’s so much talent here in the U.K but I wanted to give some up and coming producers a chance to work with me and do something cool…so will be doing a whole bunch of remixes. “

On Leaving Roc Nation Label:

” Yeah, We just had to part ways. We sat down and had a real conversation,  a  heart to heart conversation about the last five years and everything that we put forth and I felt like we’ve outgrown it and it’s time to move on. “

” I think the months leading up to it, I felt a little bit weird, and I think they felt weird too. It’s kind of uncomfortable…it’s like being in a relationship with someone. When you’re not in love anymore, you kind of know it but you don’t want to say. I built so much personally relationships everybody at the label so it was not easy thing to walk away from. But we sat done and we were really honest with each other and we still have really positive respectful relationships with everyone. “

On Departing From Roc Nation At The Same Time Rihanna Was Signed To Roc Nation:

” I think so, I don’t  know anything about it really know to be honest. The thing is that we don’t pay any attention to the other artists at the label to be frank. Everyone is so busy doing there own thing, everybody so busy doing their own thing, so nobody’s artistry is on their radar. “

On Her Upcoming EP, ‘All Or Nothing’:

” It’ will be out next year. It’s a combination of the two EP’s I put out. A  little bit of angry rock , alternative flavor from every girl  and also some really emotional and vulnerable records that like my 2013 EP ‘Cut To Bridget Kelly’  but I think overall it’s going to be more honest than it’s every been “
