G.R.L & Former X-Factor Contestant Simone Battle Dies At 25

Simone Battle, a member of G.R.L and former  contestant of ‘X Factor’ U.S show has died at 25.  The mystery of Battle’s death is still unknown. Battle was found dead in her West Hollywood home around 8:30am on Friday, September 5th. According to reports Battle was found hanging from a rod in her closet.

Family members have yet to release a statement, however Battle’s group members have issued public condolences to fans on twitter last night as did the record label on September 6th. Battle’s management firm,  Reign Deer Entertainment released a joint statement to ‘E’ news this week confirming the death of Battle. Larry Rudolph, and Robin Antin issued the following;

” We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Simone Battle Of G.R.L. Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved family. “

Since their ‘X Factor’ debut, G.R.L first single “Vacation” scored huge popularity in 2013 and was nabbed for the soundtrack of ‘The Smurf’s 2’ movie. The group also featured on Pitbull’s ‘Wild Wild Love’ track.
