We Love Erykah Badu!
Hey PLUM’s! I’m a bit late on the fashion news but this was one photo spread I simply could not pass up. Singer, Erykah Badu was recently featured inside the September issue of In Style’s 20th anniversary issue and nails it once again.
Photographer, Ricardo Tisci who is a big fan of Badu was the creative genius behind the photo spread. Tisci and Badu has worked together on her Givenchy photo spread, and he gushed about Badu saying:
“Clothes aside what I love most about Badu’s look is her braided do which is very Peaches of Peaches & Herb.”
Badu called the photo shoot “a tribute to the past”.
I absolutely love the entire spread and personal tribute to the 70’s style era.
