Reality star, Stevie J was arrested earlier this week for unpaid child support payments. According to TMZ, the former music producer is currently jailed after he allegedly stopped paying his court-ordered $8,500 per month child support.
According to the plaintiff, Carol Bennett, Stevie-J has be financially irresponsible to their to two children [ ages 14 and 16 ] since the inception of their birth.
” The judge ordered the Love & Hip Hop star to pay $6,500 monthly back in 1995 and the amount was raised to $8,500 a few years later. Well, the judge has learned that the star had not made payments in thirteen years, bringing his current back payments to a total of $1,107,412. “
Police arrested Stevie-J in Atlanta On Tuesday [June 10th]. The reality star is expected to face criminal charges in New York City.
