Jay-Z and his longtime business partner John Meneilly have parted ways for good. The duo’s business relationships goes back more than a decade so this is quite a shock and concern for many.
At this time there are swirling rumors about the duo split; some suggesting that that it was an agreed departure, and others saying that Meneilly had refused to go but was delivered the pink slip anyway.
” Meneilly, is a former Provident Financial Executive and the man responsible for much of Jay-Z’s solo success since his split from Rocafella reocrds.”
” Meneilly help brokered the Samsung deal last year as well as the selling of Rocawear for a whopping $200 million in 2007 while maintaining the licensing and marketing rights. “
I have a feeling that more of the untold story will be unveiled. At this time, Meneilly nor his reps have released a statement despite the ongoing rumor which started around Memorial Weekend.
