The infamous beef with R&b singers August Alsina and Trey Songz caused ALOT of controversy in the music world. The two were once friends, they toured together, and Trey also featured on Alsina’s hit song I Love It” [remix] track.
However, their friendship went south earlier this year due to reasons ‘still unknown’ and Alsina has warned the public that all questions referring to his friendship departure form Trey Songz must ‘cease and dismiss’ when interviewed.
Well, Trey Songz responded to the ongoing beef and kept it short during his interview with Capital Radio UK . Here’s his statement on the issue.
” August is like a little brother to me. I took him in earlier on in his career and uh… we had a discrepancy and he didn’t know how to deal with that. He hasn’t been in a situation where he has to answer the same question a million times – that’s frustrating!”
” So I really believe he spoke and said some things he didn’t really mean out of pressure….you know… cause I really care about him.
Trey continues:
” He has alot going on in his life outside of music and I know that about him. So I didn’t feel the need to speak out against me – that don”t do anything for me. I don’t want to see anybody do bad. If a new artist comes out, I don’t want to see nobody do bad.If a new artist come in, and I think they talented.
” I wouldn’t have jumped on his song, and been in all in his picture, and have him here and there with me. I like the dude, so but everything is he said about me is like whatever.and I want to see him do good because I get nothing out of talking bad about nobody. “
There, you have it PLUM’s!
