Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has got herself into hot water [YET AGAIN] The reality star is currently facing charges of a ‘misdeameanor’ following her fight with co-star,  Kenya Moore at the reunion show, and this week a video of Porsha’s church sermon three years ago has hit the web and the people are upset.

In the video, Porsha says:

” GOD gave his only son…. and he did that for our INEQUITIES. So don’t let the devil tell you that you are not worthy of God’s blessings. He wants to use you no matter what.

That’s why we Christians are suppose to be telling the hooker on the street, the drug dealer, the person whose in the hospital trying to commit suicide, the gays, the lesbians.  We suppose to be trying to save them and tell them – YOU ARE WORTHY! “

The leaked video stirred up an uproar with many people. However, most of the outrage comes from Porsha’s mentioning of gays and lesbians being saved. Hmm?

The Georgia peach is being called a a ‘hypocrite’ because she not only works in an industry that is flooded with gay and lesbian persons including RHOA producer, Andy Cohen, but she also recently performed her latest single ‘Flatline’ in New York City at a gay club along with background dancers [some of whom are gay as well].

Porsha did respond to the leaked video saying:

” I woke up this morning disturbed and I felt that my heart was heavy and it was imperative for me to address the issue at hand. First let me say that GOD loves all of his children and although some people discriminate against others because of their race, their religion, their sexual orientation, their status in life, we’re all worthy of God’s love. The sermon that was shown was not in it’s entirety.”

” Therefore the message was omitted. I apologize that these words hurt the LGBT community, my fans and my supporters. Life is a journey and I’m growing everyday and I continue to encourage everyone to love each other unconditionally.”

I’m sure she’ll choose her words carefully next time but there is still an underlying ‘elephant’ question that is not being address – Religion and Homosexuality?  Can one be a supporter of equal rights for ALL  yet oppose homosexual persons?
