Real Housewives Of Atlanta three part reunion show was aired last night and it was EXPLOSIVE. The husbands joined their wives , minus kenya who was LITERALLY the only woman sitting ALONE.
The claws were out and true feelings were unleashed. Phaedra gave Kenya Moore a READ [aka Shade,] so bad it left Kenya silent [ and we all know Kenya likes to have the last word].
Kenya just can’t seem to keep Apollo and Phaedra’s name out of her mouth and this season she continues to point out that Phaedra’s husband [Apollo] ‘wants her’ . Well, Phaedra had enough of Kenya’s dirty tricks and served her with a verbal ass whipping. In her own words Phaedra said:
More drama unfolded between Nene and Kandi. Kandi called out Nene for insulting Mama Joyce. Nene loves to insist that she is better than her cast mates, and is the QUEEN of the franchise show.
Honestly, I was shocked at Nene’s response. Andy Cohen issued the replay video of Nene insulting Mama Joyce and Nene refused to apologize saying “I SAID, WHAT I SAID” . Well, Kandi surely Nene have it and strongly suggested to refrain from insulting her mother.
I must say I agree with the public consensus [team Kandi]. Nene should know better than to insult her elders in a such a way. Kandi also noted that Nene often avoid a fight when confronted and reference the altercation between Nene and former cast mate Sheree.
Another shocker was when Nene was unapologetic to Andy and the ‘GAY’ community in response to calling Brandon [Kenya’s friend who was beaten up by Apollo on the show] a “QUEEN” . Many people felt that Nene should have chose her words more carefully. Nene tells Andy [who is openly GAY]
” I said Sorry… What else would you like me to do. Would you like me to pull your pants down and kiss your ass too “
I’m in the middle on this one. I don’t think Nene comment was solely directed towards Brandon behavior rather than trying to insult the entire ‘GAY’ community. However, I do think that Nene wasn’t in the mood to kiss ‘anyone’s ass on the reunion show and she made it very clear that not even Andy was exempt.
Brandon lashed out at Nene on twitter leaking text messages of their phone correspondence two years ago along with a verbal warning saying ” those of whom that made her will destroy her”.
Nene also faced off with Kenya Moore.
There wasn’t much of a showdown with the men. Cynthia stood by her husband, and defended his right to issue his opinion when the cast are in group settings with one another. Peter took a bite of a peach fruit in response to the critics [including Nene] that he acts more like a housewife than a husband on the show.
Apollo did ‘t have much to say about his current legal troubles “We’re just going to let it play out”. As for his relationship with Kenya. Apollo reiterated that he made Kenya and that she should receive a paycheck every time she speaks of him.
