Donald Sterling’s wife, Rochelle Sterling has come out publicly to defend herself and family [ie: children] in response to the growing controversy surrounding her husband. Mrs. Sterling attended the L.A Clippers playoff games this past Sunday [April 26] just 24 hours after the recordings of her husband, Donald Sterling RACISTS remarks was released to the public.
” I do not condone those statements that you heard, I do not believe in them. I am not a RACIST! I never have been, I never will be. The team is the most important thing to my family. “
When asked if the voice on the tape was indeed her husband’s, Rochelle Sterling avoided the question and spoke particularly to the legal issues that are in play at this time.
” I don’t know if that was [Donald’s Sterling voice], I haven’t listened to the entire thing. I do believe there were some parts that were cut out. I will let the experts handle that. The one thing I want everyone to know. I am not racist and I do not condone what I heard on that tape. “
As the story goes, Mrs. Sterling had finally become estranged from her husband after learning about his long affair with V. Stiviano. Sterling and Stiviano was rumored to be living in the same quarters for well over a few years and Sterling was spending ALOT of money for the enhancement of her lifestyle.
However, Mrs. Sterling had long believed that Stiviano had ‘ill intentions’ when she decide to court with her husband. According to the court documents
” In March Mrs. Sterling sued Stiviano claiming that she received more than $2.5 million in lavish gifts from the Donald including a 1.8 million duplex condo [with Stiviano’s name on the deed], a Ferrari, two bentley’s and a Range Rover. The cars alone totals well over $500,000. Mrs. Sterling is demanding that Stiviano return all gifts. ”
Sidebar: Donald Sterling seems to have no problem spending paid alot of money to get inside Stiviano’s black and hispanic legs.
” Mrs. Sterling also accuses Stiviano in engaging in conduct designed to target, befriend, seduce, and then entice, borrow from, cheat, and or receive gift transfers of wealth from wealthy older men whom she targets for such purpose. ”
