Things Just Got Real On RHOA!
Real Housewives of Atlanta received its highest ratings for it’s sixth season on air, and that was mainly due to all the drama that was unfolding with the women and men cast this time around. However, some feuds [ie: Porsha vs. Kenya] have carried over since the fifth season, and Porsha reached her breaking point.
” Kenya and Porsha’s beef go way back to season five when the two first met, but this season tensions heightened as Kenya constantly antagonized Porsha for not sustaining her marriage to former NFL player, Kordell Stewart often saying to Porsha: “You Were His Beard”
During the reunion show taping, Kenya brought a few stage props [as another attempt] to grab the spotlight and this time she over-stepped her bounds.
At the reunion show when Porsha was given the floor to speak, Kenya ran for her props, first shouting her voice with a megaphone “You Will Not Talk Over Me“, followed by pointing a ‘bedazzled scepter‘ in Porsha face repeating the same.
Now, that’s enough to make anyone go insane, and Porsha lost it. A fight ensued between the two and it was UGLY. In the sneek-peak video, Porsha is seen hitting Kenya repeatedly on her arm while grabbing her hair.
The result – Kenya is pressing charges and a warrant was issued for Porsha’s arrest.
I’m not for the VIOLENCE but one must protect one’s personal space [min of 10 feet] because any closer than there is a threat and self-defense must be enforced.
As for this situation, my take is that BRAVO will probably get rid of Kenya more so than Porsha because they choose ratings over legal drama. However, given the ratings of the show I’m sure they’ll hope to have everyone return so they can get higher ratings for the seventh season.
Integrity Loses Again!
UPDATE: Porsha has been charged for BATTERY. The reality star turned herself appearing flawlessly beautiful for her mugshot.
