Rapper Big Sean, 26 and Naya Rivera, 27 has decided to call off their engagement. The couple who dated for well over a year now got engaged just six months ago and was sure to be jumping the broom this year. Well, it seems that the two are much better off putting their focus o their careers instead.
The media reports suggest that Big Sean stole expensive jewelry from the Glee star, and other reports suggest that infidelity played a hand in the split. Both Naya and Big Sean have yet to comment on the reason for the split but Big Sean rep’s has confirmed the split to Hollywood Life but they denounced the rumors surrounding the break-up. Here’s the statement:
“After careful though and much consideration, Sean has made the official difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called fake sources are simply untrue.
Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter. “
According to TMZ reports, Big Sean realized that Naya was way too ‘controlling‘ and decided to opt out of the relationship following their couple counseling sessions.
” Naya demanded to know where he was at all times and would threaten him by saying things like “If You Don’t to What I Say, I’ll Ruin you Career.”
Clearly, everything is not always what it seems. Not sure what’s true or not but I’m sure their story will make for a good album [nonetheless]. Hopefully the two can remain amicable.
