Nia Long looks absolutely GORGEOUS on the April issue of Essence magazine. The actress is clearly defining ’40’ as the new ’20’ on the latest cover. Here’s a woman who gets better with age and I mean that in the literal sense of the word.
Nia is set to appear in Tyler Perry’s new film “The Single Mom’s Club” [in theaters March 14th] . Inside the mag, the brown-skin beauty talks about her new role, keeping it sexy after turning 40, and more.
Back in December during her interview with New York’s 105,1 ‘The Breakfast Club‘ show, Nia Long talked about how she balances work, family and a hectic career while keeping her AMAZING figure.
” It’s mostly rest and just not hanging out, spending time with my family and eating right. Just taking care of myself [you know], you have to PRESERVE!
” The thing is I find that when I take time out for myself I find that everything works out better. I’m a better mommy, the kids are happier because I have to switch into different roles so its important to take care of yourself. “
