Police Authorities in Detroit, Michigan say that father of multi-platinum selling singer Mary J. Blige is seriously wounded following multiple stabs from his ex-girlfriend.
” The attack occurred around 7 a.m Thursday [Jan.23rd] morning at Thomas Blige apartment. Police say that the 63 year-old had three stab wounds; one included a neck wound. Blige was taken to Kalamazoo’s Bronson Methodist Hospital.”
” Blige’s girlfriend was taken into custody for attempted murder charge -Detective Sgt. Jim Martens told Battle Creek Enquirer that officers recovered a knife and found Blige’s ex-girlfriend with blood on her clothing. She’s in Calhoun County jail and is expected to be arraigned today [Jan. 24th] .reports Detroit News “
Blige’s ex-girlfriend name has not yet been published and doctors have not released a statement on Thomas Blige condition.
