Jay-Z Among Those Being Sued $600 Million Dollars For “Brooklyn Nets” Trademark Name!

Jay-Z’s name has been thrown in the recent trademark suit against NBA developer Bruce Ratner who is being sued for $600 million dollars over the “Brooklyn Nets” name.
The court documents were filed in December of 2013 and is said to have been pending since the Nets announced their new name and location at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn New York City back in 2012.
According to Dr. Francois de Cassagnol, the popular basketball team name was trade mark over ten years ago and the defendants allegedly stole the trademark.
” Three defendants fraudulently used loopholes in the U.S. Patent Office in order to obtain the name says – De Cassagnol. “
