Singer, Janelle Monae serves up a beautiful love story in her new video “PrimeTime” which features Adorn singer, Miguel. Monae depicts the story of Cindy Mayweather [played by Monae] and her first love with Joey Vice [payed by Miguel]. Taking on the role the two play lovers in the dark, as an unexpected meeting [between of the two] at the Electric Sheep nightclub turns into a magical love story and the start of Mayweather musical career.

” Incidentally, the innovative cyber soul music played at the club directly impacted Cindi, and she began singing and performing her own innovative compositions a short time after quitting this assignment. In addition, Cindi became determined to change to the public perception of what an electric lady could be, dream and aspire to after working in the dismal conditions at the club. “
