DJ Mister Cee [ real name Calvin Lebrun] resigned from his post as on-air dj of the infamous New York Hot 97 radio show which he held for twenty years after a audio video surfaced the web that involved Mr.Cee in yet another attempt to solicit sex from a transgender prostitute . Mr.Cee was arrested three times prior for involving in similar activities but he repeatedly denies that his encounters involve other male genders and admits to having an addiction to ” having sexual escapades with prostitution” only.
Clearly, Mister Cee 46 was not able to dodge the bullet on his recent stint. The prostitute [who goes by the name Bimbo Winehouse] in the audio video [below] recorded her interaction with the Mr.Cee just moments after entering his car and negotiating ‘sexual acts ‘ with Cee in exchange for money. The video does not show the face of Mr.Cee but the voice was spot on and Winehouse calls the dj by his name as she gets out of the vehicle. Winehouse says there was no sex interaction.
In a statement released by Mister Cee he says:
” I went through a lot in the past two years with certain situations that I’ve been through and I have tried to rise above those situations. “
” I’ve tried to move forward from the situation…. An unfortunately, every time I tried to move forward, its like I take one step forward and then two steps back. And I’m hurting the people that are closest to me, which is my Hot 97 family. “
Hot 97 general manager, Alexander Cameron said the following:
“We feel that this is the best interest of both Hot 97 and Cee’s personal well-being. ”
While we watch another “closeted man” of the entertainment industry fall under public scrutiny [for all to weigh in] the issue of homosexuality [in the hip hop community and entertainment industry as a whole] is a serious topic that should no longer be ignored because it is prevalent and needs to be addressed.
