The rumor suggests that there is trouble in paradise for basketball player, Lamar Odom and wife/ reality star, Khloe Kardashian. According to new reports that have surface via TMZ today – Lamar has had a long battle [well over 2 years] with “hard core drug use” and refuses to stop. As a result, the couple marriage is on the brinks and Khloe has been recently spotted without her wedding ring while leaving the gym.
Sidebar: I mean who wears their wedding ring to the gym anyways?
Anywho, this story is spreading like wildfllower and Khloe nor Lamar has yet to release a statement denouncing the rumors. According to TMZ reports:
“Odom, who is now a free agent was cleaned through out his 2012-2013 season with the LA Clippers but reportedly slipped back in to hardcore recreational drugs”
“It got so bad, last August Khloe pressured Lamar to go to rehab. Lamar went to a facility in San Diego, but he was so resistant Khloe hired private investigators to secretly stand guard at the rehab place to make sure he didn’t leave. The P.I.s stood guard 24/7.”
“Our sources say Lamar constantly threatened to leave and Khloe made several visits to prevail upon him to stay. We’re told after 3 weeks, Lamar left for good.”
The family staged an intervention this week that Odom resisted, leading Kardashian to throw him out of the house.
“We’re told the situation has become dire. Sources tell us … within the last 2 days, the entire family staged an intervention, trying to convince Lamar to go back to rehab, but he wouldn’t have any of it.”

As we continue to HOPE that our celebrities are SAINTS [and can do no wrong] we see time and time again that they’re HUMAN like everyone else and face day to day challenges. What’s surprising in this story is that Lamar despises his father for his drug addiction problems and we now hear that he is struggling with the same issues. SMH if true!
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Khloe and Lamar’s “for better or worse” marriage clause will outweigh the STORM.
