Actress, Raven Symone has finally come out of the closet. The star most notably known for her role in NBC’s hit show ‘The Cosby’s‘ and Disney show ‘That’s So Raven‘ has declared her sexuality on twitter recently after learning that the supreme court of California [her native town] has legalized gay marriage.
It was long rumored that Raven was in a relationship with America’s Next Top Model Azmarie Livingston. The two were said to be co-habitating with one another for several months in an 11,000 per month luxury apartment in New York City. However when Raven responded to the National Enquirer initial leaked story [back in May] she preferred not to “out her self” and said the following instead:
“My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m dating to know. I’m living my personal life the was I’m happiest. I’m not one. In my 25 year career to disclose who I’m dating shall not start now. “
It’s so hard for people who are in the closet to come out freely given the public perception of homosexuality. However, the legalization of gay marriage in certain states have probed many people and stars to come out this year including CNN’s correspondent Anderson Cooper, TVone R&B Diva star/singer, Monifah, Singer, Frank Ocean, basketball star, and Jason Collins. According to a close friend of Raven – the actress is in love with Livingston and no longer wants to live in hiding.
