Kelly Rowland drops the visuals to her latest single “Dirty Laundry“. Kelly stirred major curiosity when she unveiled the audio version of the track a few weeks ago; having revealed that she was in an abusive relationship during her Destiny Child Days up through her solo career, and having “envy” towards Beyonce. Luckily the video doesn’t play too much on the words of the track, and centers more on Kelly’s acceptance and self discovery instead.
In the opening scene, Kelly swims in pool of water [which appears in black] . For me that represents the dirty laundry that Kelly is trying to seap through. Other scenes show a more vulnernable Kelly as she sings [solo] about the hurtful truth while shedding tears, self-reflecting in the bathroom mirror, and finally pulling the plug on her toxic relationship.
