Shoe Of The Day: “Congo” By Liam Fahy

Liam-Fahy-Charlotte-Spring-2013-Collection

Oh Yes PLUM’s Our Shoe Of The Day Column has returned!

As we embark on the Spring/Summer season – its important that all my Lady PLUM’s  have on the proper shoe and feet game  because it’s color season.  African print has been this season’s “must have” and as we’ve seen many celebs have been flocking for printed materials [ie: Solange, Beyonce, Kerry Washington, Rihanna, and more]

Today we feature based designer, Liam Fahy “Charlotte Pumps” shoe item from her “Congo” Spring 2013 collection. Fahy says she was inspired by the 1951 classic movie ‘African Queen’ starring the iconic woman herself “Katherine Hepburn“. The African printed shoe design features Java-textiles from Tanzania & Zimbabwe, along with a zebra-print suede and other material items.

What’s not to love about this shoes. I absolutely love the cross over detail,  the added wedge [for comfort] and the zipper trail with a bow-tie finish.

Priced at $630 Euro’s -these shoes are CERTIFIED PLUM!

Fahy has added a men’s shoe in the african inspired print  going for $430 Euro’s
