Talking about the Sh*T Hitting The Fan!
As Lauryn preps herself for the final verdict on her prior tax evasion charges today, the singer is now being sued by her former New Jersey landlord for unpaid rent. Lauryn reportedly rented the home back in 2009 and when she failed to make payment last month, the landlord filed court documents to have the star evicted from her home.
A little compassion – has clearly gone out the window because Lauryn just can’t seem to catch a break these days. Last year the singer seem to be going through ALOT personally. Hill underwent a public break-up with her longtime boyfriend and children’s father, Rohan Marley, followed by her tax evasion charges, and Wyclef Jean [1/3 member of the Fugees ] memoir book where he talked about his affair with Hill while he was STILL married – and now this.

I am well aware of your spiritual and educational growth and I understand that you are not a fan of the “industry politics” but given the “plethora” of new technology I am confident that you can put out an EP [yourself] on itunes and still sell 10 million – given the fans curiosity of your music hiatus. This can hopefully settle your financial woes and allow to you to avoid jail time.
Lauryn Hill faces up to one year imprisonment and $100,000 per fine that she is charged. Stay tuned Plum’s!
