Beyonce did more than “Ring The Alarm” on the haters and [some dedicated fans] when she debut her latest single “Bow Down” on Monday [March 18th] We all know “King Bey” is the Queen of her throne but unfortunately Beyonce felt it necessary to remind folks just how entitled she is, and for those “doubters” that question her,  Bey says” Bow Down B*tches“. However, its not only the title of the song. The words issued in the song also has many people offended by the music mogul who is [adored by the like of President’s family and daughter Sasha and Michelle].

In the intro song Bey sings/raps:

I know when you were little girls/
You dreamt of being in my world/
Don’t forget it , don’t forget it/
Respect that, bow down bitches/
I took some time to live my life/
But don’t think I’m just his little wife/
Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted/
This my shit, bow down bitches

Singer Keyshia Cole, [who made her self an official nemesis of Destiny Child after her twitter diss of Michelle Williams ] went on to address Beyonce on Monday saying:

-6

Wendy Williams took to the song debate on her show [earlier today] along with other guest panelists. One person said that Jay-Z  influence has imposed on Beyonce’s music craft, Another said that Beyonce song anthem is music and it speaks to the individuality of who Bey essentially is, and Wendy says Beyonce needs to stick her script and not feel pressure to revert her music in a new direction.

‘If a  DIVA has to call her self  a “DIVA” then she’s really not a diva… Some things don’t need to be said” – says Wendy Williams.

I agree that I was a bit shocked by the constant vulgarity in the song [coming from Beyonce] I laughed instantly when I heard the first verse [just picturing Bey’s  frustration of all the negative HATE coming her way this year . But music is art, and believe it or not Bey is a HUGE fan of hip hop and often stated that Jay-Z was and still is her favorite rapper so I’m not surprise by the song although I agree that its not her best direction as an established artist.

Sidebar: But in this music industry one must be relevant [with the youth] to maintain their position; hence Jay-Z and Kanye “N*ggas In Paris” hit song. The song didn’t hinder the “Carters” friendships with the likes of Oprah Winfrey and the Obama’s.

So what are your thoughts people? Did Beyonce need to issue such a song?
